NEW BENCHES FOR THE REAPING SDA CHURCH
|
The Reaping S.D.A. Church was planted as a company by the Gbarnga S.D.A. Central Church in 1990 with Elder P. Sulon Dolo appointed as its first elder. Few years later, the Company moved to a nearby community, the Rubber Factory Commmunity with a membership of ten. Elder Dolo nurtured the company until in 2001, when Elder Eric B.C. Kerkula took over as first elder.
Elder Kerkula was instrumental in growing the company’s membership to 35 persons. He led Reaping until 2004, when he relinquished the eldership to Elder Lafayette Kerkulah. Elder Kerkulah mobilized members to start making bricks at the land bought by the Liberia Mission. Elder Lafayette built the church up to roof level and in 2006, he turned the eldership to Elder Nathaniel N. Jimmy. NALAA donated thirty (30) pews to the members of the Reaping S. D. A.
