Our Mission
The Mission of the North America Liberia Adventist Association is to unite Liberian Seventh-day Adventists, friends of Liberians, and former missionaries residing in the United States of America and Canada and encourage them to support the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Liberia.

Our Goals
NALAA works to spread the Three Angels' Message through educational and charitable activities, including but not limited to funding scholarships, providing Bibles, Sabbath School quarterlies, school supplies, CPR workshops and health screening; youth activities, clothing, and other forms of assistance to the needy people of Liberia.
One Sabbath afternoon in 2006, after singing the hymn, Hark the Voice of Jesus calling, at the Pikesville Seventh-day Adventist Church, our hearts were pricked with compassion for our Adventist community in Liberia. What could we do to help someone in Liberia? The Flomos and the Smiths went to the home of the Flomos for lunch and began reminiscing about the Kakata Seventh-day Adventist Church. Someone suggested how to be a faithful Aaron in the community, and that suggestion opened the door to a called meeting the following Sabbath at the home of the Smiths, this time with Elder Emmanuel Kudjordji present. We later met at the home of the late Pastor Mulbah S. Jallah and also at the home of the Late Mother Beatrice Barmadia. NALAA was organized and several years later, we've come this far by faith.

1. To stand in flank, thus positioning us as an extended and supportive arm of the Liberian Mission.
2. To create a medium of intellectual and social exchange between Liberian Adventists here in North America and those back home.
3. To hold aloft the ever-burning torch of the Liberian Mission in our march toward the second coming of Christ.
4. To formulate and implement plans, programs etc. that will enhance the growth and development of the Liberia Mission.
5. Develop chapters in each state of the United States of America and Canada and affiliate corporative network with all Seventh-day Adventist® local churches.
6. To seek and maintain the spirit of unity through mutual understanding and respect among members of the association.
7. Each member and chapter will help advance the work in Liberia by his or her generous financial and material contribution
CONTINUING THE GREAT COMMISSION
Before Jesus left the earth, He had an important message for His followers–those people who watched him live, serve, die, and rise again. It was also a message for those followers who would come after Him – those today who would hear, read, understand, and believe. The message was simple:  spread the good news. In obedience to His great commission and with a passion for His glory, NALAA is taking the gospel to Liberia, meeting the needs of His people, for the sake of His name.
